It's very interesting to see how such a big entertainment organisation that provides children and adults alike through many different generations with fun and play as Walt Disney take to creating a set of guidelines to create a form of uniformity through a similar narrative.

I previously read up on now the major supermarket brands were endorsing more and more sub-brands that could offer cheaper products to their customers in their heated price competition, and Creative Review did a post which revealed the historical transition of Sainsbury's packaging through the years. The style of their packaging, much like the rest of the design industry, has most certainly changed with times, but you can't deny that these designs are nostalgic as they don't invade your vision when you walk into a supermarket.
