Slick, minimalist piece of advertising that lets the culture it is selling do the talking. Other places include Barcelona, Paris and Beijing.
Can everyone recognise the typefaces they use in the films? It would be brilliant if the typefaces they used also originated from the place they were advertising (I know 'London' has Gill Sans, which has gained its notoriety for its usage on the "Keep Calm" posters, and also by the British designer Eric Gill).
On the topic of language school advertising (and also a juxtaposition from the film above) here is a piece of commercial for Soesman Language School (Agency: Young & Rubicam) that one remembers:

I love TED talks, and this was an excellent talk that we watched during one of our lectures about independent learning. The talk by the education scientist stresses the importance and advantages of group learning, using areas where education is needed the most as an example of learning as an emergent experience.
